I'm sure y'all have heard, or experienced, how when a child is quiet they are getting into trouble. Trust me, I've experienced plenty. The other day, Kayson was playing in his room and I heard the dreaded silence. Much to my pleasure, when I looked in his room, he was sitting in the middle of his train track ... looking at a train book. I love surprises like that!

It is always scary when you can't hear your child. Often, I will be looking for Courtney because she is being really quiet just to find her doing her puzzles or looking at books. Those are nice moments as a mom.
What great luck! Lately when ever I hear that silence my 2 year old is in the bathroom sink with all the toothbrushes, toothpaste, and contact solution he can get a hold of!
